Wheel chair access at entrance good. Small plates lunch perfect for elderly relative. A very relaxing place to meet the other members of the extended family in the evening. Top notch breakfast. Free parking close by.

Really good food, the roasts on Sunday especially. Have taken family there and always had a good evening. Nice decor, friendly and helpful staff.

Paid a return visit after many other meals here with family and friends. |The food is absolutely delicious, with so many vegan options, the seasonal menu is great. |The bar staff and host are friendly and knowledgeable. It’s such a pleasure to order a drink and partake here!! ||

Excellent food, by excellent chefs. The rooms would benefit from more attention to detail. Cracked sinks and floor tiles, grubby bedroom accessories. Some beds are comfortable, but not all. Rooms 6 and 7 and 8 suffer from the noise of a very loud kitchen extractor fan.

Food was nice and the cocktails were fantastic but after we had finished our mains we were ignored for over 40 minutes, I know they were very busy. We even wanted another drink.
I mentioned it afterwards I got up to pay, the front of house member said sorry and he would take the service off 🤬 but the service should be a optional choice.

In a sea of slightly disappointing local hotels around Yeovil, this place shines. Situated in the beautiful and thriving village of Somerton, it offers friendly service, simple but nicely decked out rooms at reasonable prices, but the clincher is the vibrant little restaurant downstairs where they serve up great food at just above average pub prices, where the chef clearly cares about what’s being served up. Thoroughly recommended.

I came for dinner on Friday night with my family and it was amazing. Such a nice atmosphere and all the tables were busy which was good to see. We all had three courses and there were no complaints about any of the food at all, compliments to the entire kitchen for that. The service was topnotch from start to finish from Harry who made sure everything was perfect for us and actually seemed to really enjoy working there and took pride in his work.
