I used to be nervous going to the hairdresser, but this has changed since I found Victoria's Hair Design. Everyone is so lovely and friendly. Amy is fantastic—she listens and tries to understand my poorly-worded desires and talks me through the processes. She's also just a wonderful person to chat to. Thank you all!

I recently had my haircut by Victoria into a new style which I was absolutely thrilled with. During the first week I struggled a little with the new way of blow drying my new style, called Victoria who immediately offered me some time the next day to pop in. Quick demonstration and a little tutored practice was very much appreciated. Better than living with the problem until next cut and moaning :-) Victoria would much rather be contacted. Very pleased indeed! Sophie did a fantastic job of sorting out my difficult hair (coarse, a bit wavy, very thick and a tendency to go frizzy!). The cut is spot on, the finish was superb and I have only had to tweak it with the hair straighteners a few times since I visited. I have since washed, dried and styled it myself and it still looks good! Have actually booked my next appointment which is something I rarely do and my sister is about to book with Sophie too. Glad to have found this salon in the lovely village of Somerton.

Victoria has been doing my hair for years, she is always spot on with the colour and cut despite my awkward hair which I’m very particular about. Victoria is extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled and passionate. I cannot recommend her enough. 10/10

It was a lovely treat to have my haircut after lockdown. The salon is very clean and Covid procedures were followed. Mary was very professional and friendly and I am pleased with my hair style.

My first visit to this lovely salon was such a treat. I dread trying a new hairdresser but Victoria responded to my initial email promptly and demonstrated a keen interest in finding out what I was looking for in a hairstyle. She did the cut and styling perfectly. However, the second cut wasn’t nearly as good and whilst I’m sure she would want to put this right I am very disappointed, particularly in view of the price, so will not be returning.

I highly recommend Victoria as a hair dresser, who has coped with my hair-cut phobia for the past 3 years; but it is Jo, a Massage Therapist who works within the salon that I really want to endorse. Jo provides truly individually tailored treatment and has worked wonders with my shoulder injury. She really knows her stuff, and I can say that as a physio of 16 years experience (yes, physios do get injuries they can't reach to treat themselves!).
