Lovely veterinary surgery. Staff are all very nice. The vet was very good with our dog and gave him a thorough check up. Prices were reasonable too

Great staff, very caring and efficient

I have been taking my very timid cat, Fleur, to Band Veterinary Centre since 2021 and have been very happy with the care and attention she receives from Jon. All the staff are friendly and very efficient, even when working in the difficult conditions imposed by Covid, their high standard of service never waivers. The only negative is the parking, but they can’t do anything about that and I can normally find a space along the road nearby. Having had a number of cats with various health issues over more than 30 years, I’ve had a lot of experience with vets and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this Centre, particularly to other cat owners!

Somerton vets is friendly and welcoming. They have always been able to fit my dogs in at the drop of a hat from my puppy that ate a chew toy to my old dog that needed to be put to sleep. Fantastic staff. Couldn’t recommend they highly enough

The surgery and all in volved are great. Had to have my dog PTS and nothing was to much trouble and they came to our house. Lovely people.

The Band Veterinary Centre has always been an excellent practice which I would recommend and normally give 5*. Everyone - nurses, manager, vets - have always put the welfare and best interests of our pets at the forefront of what they do and I am sure that will not change. However, now that they have joined the Medivet conglomerate, I worry how that will affect the practice's clients and their pets. The prices are already going up at a time when many are struggling financially. There really is no place in veterinary care for monopoly or ownership by private equity firms whose primary aim is profit for investors. I very much wish to be proved wrong but .......

Had cause to call upon their services as down in Somerset on first doggy holiday, as we recently adopted a cocker spaniel. Spoke to Nicky out of hours and then met her following day as turned out our little lad had a facial abscess caused by a grass seed. Great customer service from Nicky and the team, fitted early into day schedule and spent the day with them for minor op to deal with problem. Also seen promptly later in week for post op assessment before we came home. Reasonable fees, no out of hours fees as just telephone advice. Also provide service to make insurance claim too. Great service to a visiting client.

We were on holiday for a week, when one of my dogs required urgent attention and surgery. Maggie and her team were absolutely brilliant, one of the best practices I have ever seen. Very highly recommended with a personal touch.
